Creating the Dragon Alcove: A sanctuary for Dragons

On Sunday, January 12th, 2025, I prepare to give a talk about dragon eggs and raising hatchlings. In getting ready, I reflect on my experiences with dragons over the past two years. From the ancient to the young, one common thread emerged: all long for connection. Dragons, having been away or dormant for so long, often feel isolated, disconnected, or unsure of their purpose and potential. Some have become so withdrawn they’ve forgotten what it means to be a dragon; others mask their vulnerabilities with intimidation or struggle to understand social dynamics. Yet, they all yearn to belong, to share, and to grow.

With the surge of awakening energies and rising frequencies, dragons now need a sacred sanctuary—a space exclusively for them to reconnect, remember and exchange knowledge. A sanctuary free from human influence.

The Birth of the Dragon Alcove

The idea of creating an energetic sanctuary for dragons has been lingering in my mind for some time now. As I prepared for my talk, I knew that introducing such a space would be transformative for dragons—especially the youngest ones. However much I love the idea and feel divinely guided to create it, doubt started niggling at me. I’ve created energetic spaces before, however they’ve always been infused with my personal energy and meant only for me. This Dragon Sanctuary I was contemplating needed to be different—a collective space, sustained by universal energy, not my own. But how should I do that?

On the morning of the talk, standing under the warm cascade of a shower clarity struck. The shower apparently is my favorite place for downloads…  if not mine, then most certainly my water provider’s – it will most certainly be a nice fat bill coming my way this October.

Anyways as I thought about this Dragon Sanctuary, a song began to play in my head—“Babel” by Gustavo Bravetti. Guided by this, I began channeling. I sang, spoke, and signed in light language, allowing the energy to flow through me. My intentions were clear & pure: to create an energetic alcove, sustained by universal energy, protected by layers of love and light, impenetrable to negativity or corruption, shielded from human consciousness and only accessible for dragons. I invited source energy, angels, other galactic beings, and the elements to contribute their frequencies, and finally, the dragons themselves infused the alcove with their unique energies.

Turning Energy into Tangibility

With the Dragon Alcove created, I was feeling really good until I remembered that we live in a 3D world. Our (human) consciousness does better – even surrendering – when it handles something tangible, like a song to listen to. Initially, I thought of using the song “Babel” as the guide—a bridge between the human and energetic realms. However, copyright laws posed a major challenge. And I for one do not want to be fined for unlawfully using copyrighted music. So back to the drawing board it was. It very soon dawned on me that I could just channel a song of my own, one specifically to be the bridge to guide dragons to the Dragon Alcove.

The first version I recorded felt too similar to “Babel,” so I dug deeper into myself, my intention, and reconnecting with the why behind creating the Dragon Alcove. This resulted in a second recording which was completely different, a true transmission from my heart and the energy of the dragons. With ‘Spread your Wings & Fly’, I allowed a piece of my own essence to shine through—a gift from me to them, a token of my love and the wish for them to find a sense of community, family, and home.

Sharing the Song: “Spread Your Wings & Fly”

For the album cover, I wanted it to carry the energy of the Dragon Alcove itself, serving as another kind of map. Amazingly, I already had the perfect image, one I had created with AI some time ago. Every part of this creation feels so divinely orchestrated, it all fits seamlessly together.

That evening, during the dragon egg talk, I shared the song—“Spread Your Wings & Fly” for the first time. About two minutes in, my computer unexpectedly shut down the music player. While the attendees weren’t aware that the audio was cut short, I took it as a sign that everyone had received exactly what they needed in that moment.

The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The participants’ dragon guides were intrigued and enamored by the song and the Dragon Alcove initiative. This made my heart & soul sing and reinforced my belief that this creation was not just a wish—it was a necessity.

A Call to Share

I feel a deep calling to share this song widely and freely. It serves as an energetic roadmap for dragons who may need guidance finding their way to the Dragon Alcove. By making it accessible across multiple platforms, I hope to reach as many people and dragons as possible, allowing this sanctuary to fulfill its purpose.
